She was beautiful. They even told me when she came in, that she was so beautiful and so sweet, she was so hand tamed. I adore all of my birds especially the turkeys they have a special place in my heart. What a sweet little face she had. I haven't seen a brown turkey before. She was very pretty. I'm glad you have such nice pictures to remember her.
Maybe get that one of you and her together framed and hang it up behind the little footprint box and the ashes when you get them. A small memorial.
The very first picture you posted is really good as well. Such an inquisitive expression. Turkeys have a reputation for being unintelligent, but she looks pretty keen to me.
I’m thinking of doing that for sure. I’m glad I have all the pictures of them always to remember, since they were babies. I got both her and her mate shadow in a hatch along with another Tom who passed a year ago and the other hen ebony who I still own to this moment, she’s the last of the group. Peeps identical twin sister.. my last turkey. I’ll cherish her.
She was amazing
