Help with dislocated “knee” on my duck

That's a good question, maybe he would have to live in a sling.

I mean this real looks like the way to go! The next few days I will try and put something like this together to get him wrapped up, and figure out a way to sling him up with food and water( that might be the toughest part) I really don’t want to be pushing anything until the pain meds really kick in. This truly is like an “ah ha” moment seeing this brace like apparatus

Ok so... based off that I’ve been calling it his knee and really it’s his heel Well then... I look stupid... jeeze

I have a chair, think I can have him in that for a long period of time? He does seem to have a way of finding a way out as soon as I take my eyes off of him

See my problem with these and the chair I made for him(which seems to sit a little lower then pictures) is he always finds a way to free his wings and pull himself out of said chair... I only wrap his wings with a towel as not to put too much pressure on his chest (he is fighting an upper respiratory issue as well at the moment)

I can try...! But he is pretty good at getting the vet wrap/elastic wrap off his leg, so I have to assume he will be better at getting it off his chest and wings

Maybe fashion something over top of him that would discourage him from trying to get out? Like just a piece of wire with something (fringes?) hanging down from it that he would not want to try to go thru?
