Help with Ducks and Geese

I need some help. My ducks and geese are laying where ever they please in the yard. I have several igloo dog houses of different sizes and a enclosed area that they don't like. What should I do.

Hi linda 5661 my geese or ducks won't use those igloos houses but will use a large dog house with a wide opening .

My geese hate our igloo too One is using an old A-frame coop and the other is climbing up the ramp, squeezing through the pop door and laying in the chicken coop.

The ducks manage to hit a nest about 50% of the time.
I'm just trying to give everyone as many options as possible.

Having different batches of ducks for several years now it seems that the ones inclined to go broody find a nest. The pekins just lay where ever they happen to be standing (or swimming) wjen the urge strikes. Collecting the stray eggs for a couple of days and sticking them all in a nest might help give everyone the hint.

I put fake goose and duck eggs into nests and they have trained themselves to lay inside.
