Help with vents for coop

Ask the employees, I don't know what larger vent covers count as. Maybe HVAC section for starters but those might only be smaller ones, and you earlier linked a 12x18.

Can someone show me a picture (from menards would be great!) of a Louvered vent...in the roofing section I only see mini 4” ones or would they be like with the floor registers and hvac stuff?! My windows are 30” x 36”

I couldn’t find the size I wanted to replace the flimsy gable vents At Menards, so I bought a return vent and it works great and seems much more durable. Something similar to this, but what I bought in store was cheaper (online seems to have larger size variety if you ship to store):

Did you see the shed in the first post......those huge house gable vents wouldn't fit, probably different angels too.
I sure wish they made those smaller tho, IIRC even the shed window/vent places don't have them.

We use floor register covers. Draw line on outside of building of inner edge that fits down into hole, cut and your done.

Sure I did ... it is 8' wide ... a 36" could fit width wise ... don't know about height wise ...

Besides ... OP built theirs "simular to" ...

I have 3 full size windows in mine and bought the floor type vents that you can open or shut as needed, around the the upper part of coop under eaves. Bought them at my local Walmart for under $4 each and very easy to install. Made the biggest difference

That’s what I used very easy to install and they can be opened or shut depending on what you need bought mine at Walmart for under $4 each

I just finished a mono pitch roof coop using black steel for the roof. I used 1.5” foam insulation, a 2 inch gap between the insulation and the steel and coravent to allow the coop to breath. The steel was too hot to touch today and inside the coop was cool as a cucumber
