I used to tell my kids they could give the animals some of their people food if they were willing to eat an equal amount of the animals' food. A puppiccino is whipped cream, isn't dairy constipating for ducks?

When we talk about a hardware cloth apron we mean one that runs around the coop and run on the outside, not inside.

we don’t have a run in this coop,

An apron can be placed around and run and/or a coop.
Good examples of anti-dig apron installation.
If rodents are prolific, burying a 1/2" hardware cloth apron ~12" would be good.

So many dogs(cats, chickens) are overfed in general,

Lol... I had a husband once who didn't "get" it ... I told HIM he could give the dog people food if he was willing to clean up the puke and diarrhea later. It only took once. I am an evil woman.
