I think i used all my patience on my kids. The guineas make a habit of trying to drive me crazy!

So one guy showed up to work who has no idea what he is doing. He worked all day (from 10-3) and finished closing in three sides of the goat barn. Sllllloooooww!View attachment 1183985
Yes, by the job only. I am glad i don't have goats waiting to live in there. Still lots of fence to put up. Maybe today i will force the guineas into the new coop.
Well Jim, i am not going to use a net to catch guineas. They are in an enclosed coop so i will just grab them off the perches. I tried the easy way for them and they have chosen the rough way . Hope to take 2 at a time, still 7 trips down Guinea Lane to the hoop coop unless husband helps.OK, but if they all don't go in, lock up the ones that do. the rest might hang around and you can put them in later.
especially if they see the penned up ones eating and drinking..
patience "Grasshopper"
remember, if you try to net one,and miss,. the next time you will need a longer handle . and if you miss him again,
all they will have to do is see the net and you won't even get close.
I use the net to herd them. chickens, too.
when I get frustrated or they run, I throw the net in front of them to try to turn them. i knocked one out doing this, once.
it warmed up to 21F this morning, but it snowed and GS said he saw a semi slid off of the highway..
