Helpful hints for building coops

whoops, did I call it wrong.. the snow did stick.. 2 inches of it.. It will melt, though..
had a mouse trap set for about two months.. yesterday there finally was a mouse in it.. time to set a whole series of them..

last week I had some paper on the kitchen floor to catch spills from tomato processing. I heard something on the paper and a baby mouse was busy eating a spill. I scooped him up. The same day I seen one run over the mousetrap. Too small to set it off. He went up on the kitchen counter and sat there. I scooped him up too. They must have been in here for a while if they are tame enough to scoop up by hand... chickens invited them to dinner... I need to get another cat!

if I had to choose between mice and a cat in the house, I would vote for the mice..
have an appt to take Frankie to the vet on Wednesday.. she acts like she has worms, but it seems too soon after her last worm treatment .. I am thinking a yeast infection or something like that..
the snow still hasn't melted.. the trees are all white..

Still working on feeders that hold a couple days worth of feed and winterizing coops and hutches. I hope winter holds off...

Planted an apple tree and filled all waterers and feeders today.
Elective surgery for me tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good day.
