Helpful hints for building coops

I do not eat beans in an enclosed room with an open flame in it ..
I had a reprieve yesterday. GS made sausage soup.. it think , for his own protection..
today is VA day , Labs. then a little food shopping and visiting Annie. She is supposed to be coming home this week, she says..
Ollie is still stuck . Not going to try to unstick him until it warms up,,,next weekend.

Annie thinks Thursday or Friday is her homecoming..
I didn't know what the limp greens in the soup was. I thought it might be spinach.
It was kale. I liked it. I also like limp spinach.
black beans, navy beans tiny red potatoes, and sausage ..not enough salt and pepper.
He said that there was enough flavor. I told him that salt brings out the flavor. no matter, I can always salt my own bowlful..
Tomorrow morning, 8am, Frankie is going to the vet. This time I am not going to stay and watch. I feel so guilty for putting her down for an ailment that we both have..
I hope somebody doesn't put me down..LOL
.My trip to the VA is routine. monthly blood draw for labs.

Yeah, but....if you know they're suffering..it's often best to let them go.

I know that you know how I feel.
She went down hill so fast in this past week,
She cries in pain at times, and a few times , when she moved wrong, she just shrieked ..
But she is eating good and her tail never stops wagging..two years the vet told us she was too generic to have any more pups..
We are not going to have another dog..
Annie asked me today what I would do if a dog strayed into our yard. I told her it could just stray back off.. We have gotten a few dogs that just came along and stayed..

Sorry Jim, that always sucks. But why let them suffer? Maybe someday people will have the option to say when they have had enough. Hugs.

If I had that option, I couldn't do it.

We know from the minute we let them into our hearts, that one day they will break them.

The joy we gain by loving them will, in time, once again outweigh the sadness they can bring to our lives.

The deed is done.
She was so good about getting into the car without any coaxing.
Then she went with the girl to have her collar switched without a fuss.
They asked me if I wanted to spend a few minutes with her. No thanks. She was treated like a queen all week and especially yesterday.
Did I want to be with her when they put her down ? HeII no..
GS Kalib said as we were leaving:
"I was OK until we turned into the driveway".
we will miss her, but we know we die the right thing..
