come come children, you are not old, yet.
but everything you say is true.
It seems like they are adding a few pounds into every kind of feed sack..
Ladders don't bother me. but I spent many years climbing them.. just make sure it is set soundly each time..
the tree in the pot is a good idea. plant it close to the house and at a window where you can see it clearly from inside. decorate it from now on. We husbands always think wives spend too much. after 55 years, I don't bother to even mention it anymore I don't mind moving snow,, but not doing it is still better.
yesterday I had my annual pacemaker check up.. we are doing fine. the technician said that the device is not having to do much as my heart is working good..
the battery is good for 4 more years.
then they will cut the old device out and put in a new one. they can't charge the battery and it is internally mounted inside the device.

Good news, your heart is doing well!

well, can't put it off any longer. today is officially clean up the kitchen day. I need lots of space to do my baking and cooking..
the wild birds are going to get a good helping of dry bread. we don't use very much bread around here, so by the time we get to the last four pieces in the package, it is dried out. so open a new loaf.. but don't throw out the dried bread.
wait until there are a half dozen such bags piled up next to the toaster..
I have to make the dressing for the turkey my daughter is bringing. I have to make a lemon and a banana pie and some dinner rolls..
tomorrow I will make mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes and corn from the freezer..
we plan on a very early dinner around 11 AM on Christmas day. some of the people have to go to work afterwards..
if we are going to have a white Christmas, it will have to come in the form of a heavy frost. no snow forecast .

Put half the loaf it in the freezer immediately after opening package.
It really does keep it fresh, and toasting will thaw it nicely.

Holiday Cheers to you, have fun cooking...and eating!!

I used to cube the bread and dry it for stuffing.
I got lazyitis and now buy the cubed bread.
since I am not cooking the turkey this year, I won't have any stock for the dressing, so I bought a couple cartons of chicken stock.
I hope it works..
Annie has bread in the freezer most of the time. I noticed that the toast gets really crispy after the bread was frozen.. I like that.
Cappy, If you buy a tree every year, soon you will have a nice forest..
everybody have a great holiday and enjoy your time spent with your family and friends.
Merry Christmas..
