I don't know how dry we are. our whole property slopes to the east so it dries quite quickly. I will find out soon

well, I spent a lot of time outside. I took the tree wrap off of the new trees. checked the elderberry bush for cutting candidates. found quite a few nice ones. they are just budding out. the garlic is about six inches tall. I came up to the garage to mix some dirt to put the cuttings in. that did my back in. so now I am in the house getting rid of my back ache. I hope the more I exercise, the better I will get.

Walking helps hubby, and me with my back.
Hubby helped me finish up the pen for the young buck that keeps escaping. I will try to remember to get a picture.
The swap i hatched a lot of chicks for, that i go to every year has a terrible weather forecast so i am staying away from there. They usually have up to 10,000 people attend!

Cappy, if you build it tight enough to hold water, it MIGHT hold a goat.
I am planning to do a lot more walking. Sitting around indoors all winter is what caused my back aches

Well, thanks to chickens i go out daily. Very glad it is warming up.

Yesterday I made seven green elderberry cuttings. Made a mini greenhouse out of a 55 gal pail.
Today I will sneak between the raindrops and get some plum cuttings. When my brother comes, he will help me get some apple cuttings. the ones I want are high up in the old tree.
Now we have at least two tiny rabbits under the wheelchair ramp.
probably more. I have not actually seen them, yet. Annie seems to see them whenever she goes out. but we all know what a liar she is. lol

Spring is kinda depressing for me...so much to do that I can't do anymore.
May is tough with mothers day and my late sons birthday.
So not much to talk about that isn't a downer.
But, yeah, I'm OK.
