I think that the colors came out as well as I could have imagined.

I *might* recut piece 27. It's not quite as nice as the others.
 
minus 9F this morning. going to stay in the single
digits most of the day.
Yesterday I spent three hours in the dentist's
chair. got a temporary cap on the tooth I chipped
on Sunday.
My daughter has a collection of porcelain
elephants. she was on a kick a few years back.
IDK if she is still collecting or not.
our Dish TV service is out . won't be repaired until
Dec 28th . will miss the Packers football game
on Christmas day. Otherwise I didn't miss watching
last night. in fact it was nice to just have the radio
playing background music while we actually
talked to each other.. We didn't have a TV for the
first six years after we were married.

We don't have TV at all.

Long ago we had to choose between paying for TV and paying for internet and picked internet.

The only thing I miss are live sports.

I could totally give up TV. We have an antenna now, so it's free, but sometimes the reception is glitchy, and we don't get the NFL or ESPN football games.

I too just have an antenna. My Mom had dish....200 channels and nothing on LOL
 
we got another 4" of snow last night.
kind of windy now. I am not going to plow.
we don't have anywhere to go.
if it doesn't warm up by Christmas, I have
a guy I can call who will come with his truck.
In two hundred years from now, on Feb 2.
the date will be 2/22/2222 .. watch for it..

Yeah, well if we become vampires, we might be around to see that date.
