Helpful hints for building coops

My chicks are around 4 weeks old. Im took them out earlier to let them play and get use to being outside. Its about 82 with a real feel of 85. Now we were only out there for a few minutes and I think they were already getting too hot. So now I'm worried on when they have to go outside permanent

Are you using a heat lamp or a plate... or are they off heat?

At about any temp they should always have the option of shade.

Brooder plate, but they almost never use it.

The coop has plenty of ventilation. At the top there is a 1ft tall by 8ft long vent and a 12 in vent fan on the rear. The run will have a 25ft tarp on top of plus they can get under the coop. This is just a small 4x7 spot I let them go outside for a lil bit some times
