When I wake her up she eats like a pig. And I just washed out her eye. Nothing wrong with it. Just swollen. Ive never dewormed chickens before. Mine never have beenAwww...
She sure isn't feeling too well is she?
Now, just to re-cap - you have her on Tylan50 correct?
Her crop is emptying completely overnight and she is eating/drinking fairly well.
You are cleaning the eyes.
She has been treated with Permethrin poultry dust/spray.
Have you de-wormed her?
Ill try again. I know my roos get lice. Ill look once more. I havent seen mites unless theyre really really tiny. And yes I dusted with permethrin. Ill check tonight. It keeps raining and snowing here. Could wash offI would re-check everyone for lice and mites. Did you treat with a Permethrin spray or dust? That needs to be repeated at 7 day intervals several times to ensure that you kill any that have hatched.
Check his crop first thing in the morning too.
