Hen Crowing!

Agrees.... more like 3-4 months.
the hatch date was July 5th and i looked at the calendar to make sure only 2 months have passed haha. it gets a ton of food and running around in the garden so maybe that's why it's big? also it has been sleeping outside for the past month and i saw a video of another guy who said putting his chickens outside at 2 months was early so maybe it just got tough

Well, you have a cockerel on your hands

Managed to video it just now! this is only the fourth time he has done it ever since he started over 2 weeks ago. Only seems to happen when it's happy to see me and never when out in the pen alone. There's a rooster around the block that crows at least 5 times a day and it sounds more like a cockledoodledoo. Has no spurs and the tail feathers don't droop so i dunno. The guy who gave it to me said it was a female but who knows if he really knew
Cockerel

Yep, normal, can take them awhile to develop a multi toned crow.
Our current rooster did a short funny crow for a year or three. He had been letting the older rooster do most of the crowing, so when he took over, he started doing this annoying sound every day at 4am. There was talk of getting another rooster, but he eventually got the hang of it.
