Hen egg bound for 4 days now; multiple egg situation. Please help

Is she drinking? If not, you need to get fluids into her to replace what she's losing. Syringe or tube them into her. Like this:

Avoid that hole behind the tongue as that's her airway.

She is. She has a bowl of sugar water and I syringe some of that into her beak every once in a while just in case.

She's breathing really heavy now, like it's 100 degrees outside. Her comb, wattles, and breath feel really hot. I purposefully put her box in an area close to a ceiling vent.

At this point, I'm not sure she's going to make it. Tomorrow is day 4 of her sitting everywhere. She passed the first egg, a very very thin shelled egg with thick, gel-like in some spots albumen, yesterday. It's now been about 30 hours since then. I've been supplementing her with calcium carbonate pills, sugar water mixed with Nutri-Drench syringed into her beak, and K-Y jelly around her vent. Her vent area is very uncomfortable to her; I tried syringing warm saline into her vent earlier and she started shaking when I lifted her tail and would not let me come close to her vent. I think the pressure of the egg(s) is causing her to become a little lame. I took her out of her box earlier to change out the poopy puppy pad, and she kind of... hopped? stumbled? on her hocks to the corner of the shower.

I'd really appreciate guidance on what to do next for this poor girl. She had a prolapse a few months ago, and she's a production breed (Red Star) so I'm assuming she has a defective oviduct/reproductive system.

I just got the cal carb pill into her. I syringed some water after it. She feels very very warm. I'm going to sleep soon, but if she's not improved by tomorrow evening I may seriously have to consider euthanasia. I gave her Meloxicam again this evening but nothing changed. She's really suffering.

Guess I'll see how she is tomorrow.

Just one more thing to add: she is absolutely burning up with fever. I can't take her to the vet. I also have to be extra careful because my brother had surgery this morning and is staying with us, so he can't be around any pets.

If it comes down to the egg bound chicken and risking an infection in my open-wounded brother, the chicken's going.

My guess as to what's going on with this hen is that another egg has collapsed inside her and has begun a bacterial infection. She displays all of the signs of infection. If you have an oral antibiotic on hand, you can try it. But the obstruction is obviously not willing to clear on its own.

There isn't anything you can do and even a vet might not be able to, either. Unless she spontaneously squirts out that egg, she's going to die. At this point, I agree that euthanasia is probably the best decision.

So sorry for your hen. I agree that an antibiotic might be needed if you can get amoxicillin or Baytril. Baytril is banned in chickens, but many vets use it to save a life and fight repro infection.

Thank you all so much for your help and guidance. I appreciate it more than you know. I'm going to take her to be euthanized today. She's the second one of my original flock of 4 to pass away. Luckily I have 2 EE pullets that I was trying to find a way to keep.
