Hen is badly egg bound or something similar please help

I didn't know what it was until yesterday but she had been showing symptoms for a few days before that, then when I realised what it was I learned what to do I brought her inside and let her nest in a basin with shavings, and gave her the bath with epsom salts, I didn't have any calcium pills but gave her oyster shell grit and little bits of cheese and some yogurt and also gave her electrolyte water to drink which she took yesterday morning with no troubles but she has deteriorated since then and after her bath this morning she wouldn't eat much just the yogurt and water, I also rubbed some vegetable oil in her vent and massaged gently during the bath, she is still able to poop but isn't moving around much just seems to be breathing deeply maybe it's her trying to pass the egg? Is there anything else I can do for her? I'd appreciate any help please I'll attach pics and a video

When you massaged her, did you do an internal exam to feel for an egg?

Can you post a picture of her poop please?

sometimes the egg is really big, and is hard to get out, or she might be having a hard time making the egg.. i would keep an eye on her and check on her every few minutes.

Also do you have any tums in the house by any chance ?

They can be a suitable substitute for a calcium pill.

This may sound weird, but try checking if there is an egg in her. it may be blocked up

I went through this recently. Some folks on BYC helped me out a lot... there is a really good article on egg bound chickens, I will find the link for you in a minute. If it has been over 24 hours you are at a point where you really must insert a finger to feel for an egg. I will find the article, it's not as hard as it sounds, I was scared to do it at first, but it must be done!

Thanks for the quick replies, she pooped not long ago and I cleared it out and take a pic of it as soon as she goes again, I don't have any tums sadly and I don't drive so I have no way of getting any until tomorrow, I do have peppermint antacid pills it says it contains calcium carbonate would that work? When I was massaging her it was definately swollen not sure if it could be an egg or not she looks quite fragile so I'd be scared of lifting her to take a pic of her abdomen incase I end up injuring her, can't upload a vid not sure why it says the extension wasn't allowed it's an mp4 il try attaching a pic the basin shes in is clean it's just been scrubbed alot over the years

I have her in the bathroom because I read that a high humidity area helps is that right or should I move her in front of the electric fire where she'd be warmer?

I did feel inside her vent when I was applying the oil but couldn't feel an egg and she pooped when I did i took that as a good sign that she wasn't completely blocked but not sure now, I didn't go in to deep for fear of breaking it if there was an egg but il have a read if that thread thanks and then try again
