If they're a Houdan they'll have five toes. The reason why I asked is if they were that breed (Houdan), I'd definitely say this is a pullet, but if they're Polish you might need to give it a few weeks to be sure (but I'm not seeing anything that makes me think cockerel)

Ok that’s interesting! These are my first polish chickens so unsure what to look for, I have read a lot but in terms of milestones or what to expect with comb/wattle growth was still confused. Thank you!

I generally look at how their crest comes in. In my (admittedly short) experience, pullets get a pompadour, cockerels a mohawk as it's coming in, before the shape is obvious (round and tighter for the ladies, whispier for the dudes)

Too young but I would suspect cockerel
