It’s a boy, but I doubt there’s any silkie in him, no black skin, no crest, no fifth toes, and he has a single/standard comb. (Correct me if I’m wrong because I can’t see his face very well.)

I see five toes, but ... um...looks more Seabright than silkie to me- or another bantam which leans more pea/rose comb-

Looks is an interesting mix!

I'd lean cockerel because of the patchy wings and though the comb is small, it might not be for the mix and it looks like there's some tail feather swooping, too. That little arch. Cockerel tell.

Any spiky saddles? Can't really tell from pics.

Because of the 5th toe, that means he silkie IS in there which might make hackles and saddles harder 😆

AND- another 'gift' that silkie might give is that he might be slower to develop- so... yeahhh!

It's bigger than all the ones its age which theres 9 of them but I got 2 from a friend I work with the other is almost all black with some fleck of white on the breast, 5 toes on each foot. Its comb is more flat to its head. This one just looks different.

Ah I see it’s a pea comb too as well as the fifth toe. He likely has a silkie grandparent, passing on the dominant pea comb genes but not the rose comb genes to make it walnut.
