Hen or Rooster? Barred Rock was supposed to be a hen...

Okay folks not a great video but there's a decent audio attached on Youtube of our hen/rooster "crowing" this AM. So is it a male or female?

SHE is definitely a roo. I have BR's and my hens are much darker without so much white. My hens do not have tail feathers that stick out like those do. Out of my 8 BR chicks, five were roosters. Yep, rooster all the way!

But, then again I also had a female kitten named Sophie. She went to the vet to get spayed and came back Bob. So, what the heck do I know??
