Hen or Rooster

Looking for help identifying whether these ladies (?) are roosters or hens. I’m a first time chicken owner and my welsummers and olive eggers were so easy to tell but I have no idea with these ones. We can’t have roosters in our area and I’d hate to wake neighbors with their first crows if one (or both) are roosters.

Also would love to hear thoughts on age. I was told 8 weeks when I got them which would make them 12 weeks now.

Yeah, the comb on that last one is quite large, and there are some extra shiny feathers coming in which may indicate a cockerel.

Look like Pullets to me, 12 weeks, comb looks smaller, but I've never had a solid black EE's to be 100% confident. Age looks about right, maybe slightly older, as we have 5 EE's the same age and yours are a little more mature than ours currently.

Ok here is an update of the chicken that was a maybe to some viewers above. She/he definitely has a more prominent comb and I’m not sure if hens look that way or not. The other chickens is much paler and smaller so I’m sure the other is a girl. Thoughts?

She is getting close to egg laying. A cockeral would have let you know by now.

I would have hoped so but I read stories about people getting surprised pretty late. Thanks!
