Hen stopped laying

What feed exactly?
Any other foods/treats/supplements given?

So 26 weeks old?
Do you have other birds or just these two?
Do they free range?

They are on Purina layer feed. We were going to start giving them oyster shells. They get fruits and vegetables most days. For treats we give them bread, but not very much. There are 8 hens in the coop. Four of them are a lot younger than the others. They are not free range. They have a really big run though.

  1. Decreased appetite and drinking.
  2. Lethargic, sitting around, fluffed up.
  3. looks sick, depressed.
  4. Shaky wings.
  5. Walks like a penguin she will periodically stop walking and try to squat.
  6. Abdominal straining the vent can be seen straining to expel something

  1. She still acts the same as she did before.

When I give them bread I split 1 slice between the 8 birds
If they are acting fine and seemingly healthy, no bugs etc, that's the only other thing I'd say would slow their laying down. Too many treats can dilute the nutrition they'd be getting out of their commercial feed. I wouldn't be concerned with a slice of bread, however.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I kind of forgot. I added some vinegar to the water and never found any sign of worms. The black sexlink started laying again a few weeks later. The production red still hasn't laid any eggs that I know of. It has been really cold for about a week. I don't expect eggs in this weather, but it was warm until a few weeks ago. She's about 9 months old now. She still eats, drinks and appears healthy. Is she still just not ready? I'm getting a little worried about her.
