hen with closed eye

Just recently i have noticed my layer sitting quietly longer and not apart of the group as she was. she is about 8 months old and had layed an egg everyday for the past 2 months. i have seperated her once i noticed one of her eyes closed it seems to look normal like no swelling or seeping or gunk around? she is eating and drinking?

Is there any hen illness that relates to this? and what would you suggest?
