I am trying to rehome my flock as I am buying a new house and cannot take them with me. I would really like to see them gone ASAP as I will be traveling in a couple weeks and it would be much easier to not have to make arrangements for their care. In addition, the situation is upsetting for me so like a bandaid, I am trying to get it done quickly. I am really trying to find a home for them where they can live out their days and not be eaten.
I have a number of different breeds: Silver Laced Wyandotte (1), Rhode Island Reds, Australorps, Jersey Giants, White Leghorns, Easter Eggers, Delawares, and some mutts. Altogether, I have about 20 chickens.
Some were raised from chicks by me over the past two years. Others were from before then and are a little older. I am asking $5 a piece. I live in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area and am willing to deliver. On Sunday, I will be in the York area and can meet up with someone there as well.
