Here I Am Again... NOW, Day 21..All Four Have Hatched..DONE!

I'm not sure yet, either black or dark blue. There seems to be a lighter underside, so it could be blue, but she's still very wet. It was a very clean hatch, very fast and easy. Here are pics-the BR on the bottom left is pipped on the outside bottom edge so it's hard to see. I bet it's zipping around the bottom.

Cynthia where do you get that material on the bottom of your bator?
That stuff looks so perfect for the eggs to hatch on and the the babies
to walk on.

That's just rubbery shelf liner I get almost anywhere, Walmart, discount stores, grocery stores. It is perfect, non slip, easy to disinfect if it doesn't get too dirty and if it does, then not too expensive to just throw away and cut a new piece. I love it myself.

As Silver's baby is drying, she definitely looks blue! The others are still working on getting out.

Cynthia good luck getting rid of your migraine. I used to get rid of mine by taking 2 sudafed, 2 aspirin, and breathing into a paper bag till it went away. The migraine may get a bit worse during this process, but then it goes away. I have used this method for 25 years, and it never failed me. I think it has to do with re breathiing the Co2, and what it does to the blood vessels in your head. I used to carry a paper bag in the car because if I got one in the car, I could pull off and do my process. It took me about 40 minutes. Karen

Thank you, Karen! I'll try that if it flares back up. Right now, it just feels like pressure lurking, if you know what I mean. I just want to enjoy my hatch today! Oh, BTW, Karen, I have four of Caroline's and two Ameraucana eggs for you and Caroline hasn't laid her egg for today yet, so there should be five in the pkg. I may be able to get another Ameraucana egg in there, if you want me to. I'm still waiting for them to lay theirs today.

Congrats, Cyn! I get so eggcited seeing these babies pop out of the shells.

When it comes to eggs - this is by far more exciting than the 1st egg or easter egg hunts!

I forgot to add: if you want them to be pullets, then DO NOT chant "pullet, pullet, pullet" over them at every opportunity. That's how I ended up with all roos in my last 2 hatches!!!! LOL!!!
