Mine are still there ( hatched this morning and through the day), I will take them out in the morning. I only had 5 eggs in the incubator so plenty of room to run around.
when they say lockdown I assume it mean to not open the incubator until the hatch is done. Mine will come out tomorrow even if the other egg hasnt hatched. I will then check that egg and see if I think it is going to hatch.
Yes lockdown means do not open the bator. Congrats on your new fuzzy butts!!!

Today is going to be a GREAT day!!! Day 20 and I woke up to a pipped egg and I hear chirping!! Then I went outside to feed everyone this morning and one of my 7 week old BR chicks was trying to crow. He sounds so funny.

Well nothing happend in my second egg so when I take little chick out later I will have a look at the egg

Someone had told me about the float test last time. At the end of the hatch, take those that didn't hatch and gently float them in warm water. The air sac will keep them up. They will float with no ripples if the chicks are not coming out. But, for those that still have a chance, you will see little ripples from movement, and the warm water soak will help membranes rehydrate if they may be stuck. You just have to be carefull and make sure no pipps get under the water. For tose of you wondering about those last few, just thought I would pass that along.
