This is my first hatch of anything! I have 7 Catdance eggs under a broody hen. My hatch date is the same as yours 20/21 so we travel this road together. I hope to get a splash, lavender, and partridge out of this hatch. Those are my #1 picks but there is also a black and porcelain. I have 2 whites and 1 blue with leakage of caramel on his neck. My blue is a cockerel and my whites are pullets and they are 5 months old. I really want a splash and a paint oneday.

My Cockerel in this pic is a Catdance Silkie I hope you get just what you are hoping for. I havent hatched Catdance eggs but have bought several chicks that were hatched from them. I have some black /lav splits, a grey and a blue partridge that are 8 weeks old now Lovely little birds!

They are just the first eggs laid by a young female "pullet" she becomes a "hen" at a year old I think

Oh rats, I was hoping you were telling us there was a way to know the sex of the eggs before you set them

Yes - total noob - I have never hatched or kept chickens before. Should be hatching on saturday 22nd. Same day as Brookhavens??
