Im sorry, hate when they get that close and dont make it

I was getting ready to throw it out. I do the tap test on each egg that has not hatched before I throw it out. I tapped this egg and it tapped back so I put it back in the bator. The shell was just to thick for it to break. Its little beak was about down to a nub where it had been pecking for so long. I pipped it last night but I guess it just had a enough and died.

I know I am on day 20 but set my eggs in the evening so probably late tomorrow or the next day. Unfortunately my hatcher lost temp down to 99 degrees overnight. I hope things will till be ok.
