Brookhaven i have seen those pens with PVC.. on here How do bend the pvc?What diameter do you use.? Do you use hard ware clothy and is there a coop or just the run?

The PVC bends naturally. I used 10 foot pieces of 1/2" PVC, others have said 3/4 inch. I did talk to a plumber in Lowes when I was buying it and he said to soften it up to bend even more you can leave it in the sun or heat it with a blow dryer. I used 1" chicken wire and then a second layer of 1'x1' plastic deer fencing that I found at Lowes. I have used the plastic fencing before and it is strong. I extended the chicken wire out 12" from the base of the run as a deterrent from anything digging to get in.The run I made was 5'8" x 15 feet. I am in the process of building the coop. It will be detachable and go at the back end. Right now I have a tarp over the back part with a roost underneath for the kids. It is still a work in progress but for now it works and it cost me less than $75 to make.

Ahhhhh. Nothing better than puppy breath. Weeeellllll except maybe for little, fuzzy butt chickies. I always wanted a litter from my mastiffs. Tried twice but she never took. You are going to be one busy lady when whelping time comes. At least chicks are low maintenance. Puppies on the other hand...LOL.

Oh ok ...pulls the ramp up . Looks like she uses 2.x 2s or does she ?...but still seems heavy for sitting on the run .
Did she mention any bracing?
it Is there a pic of the studs up and floor and no walls?
What does she move them with or has she ?
I have a lawn tractor i could move mine with but so far i am afraid they arent stable enough to pull them across the yard without tearing them apart LOL

She didn't specify those things. I had to laugh at your comment about pulling your tractor. My daughter's BF and I each went to lift up our ends of the run to move it. Thinking it weighed a ton we both lifted really hard and just about fell on our butts because it was so light. The braces I put across the center bottom and 4 corners really gave it support and I can drag the entire thing around the yard by myself if I want. I am sure once I attach some wheels to it it will be even easier.

The partridge has an issue with it's legs ~ it was the one that was pipping and zipping for an entire day. Here is what I have done and then redone to make it better per instructions (this is the first time I did it the second time I moved the bandaid up closer just under the toes). Those of you who have experience in this is this okay? He/she wasn't able to walk...not splayed out just like one foot wasn't right he was kind of rolypoly. Thanks.

Looking good. The only thing I would do differently is bring the legs closer together. To use the white gauze pad of the platster (or band aid) as the width and leave no space in between the end of the white pad and the spot that the leg is connected. Does that make sense.
Depending on what type of plaster you use, some fall off more quickly if they get wet, you will have to change it about once a day. In the beginning he'll do more rolling than walking, but in a week or so will have learned how to stand and walk. I think the longest we've kept them taped is 10 days

It is moving better today but I am going to change it out and move the band-aid closer together. Also, it seems more tired than the others so I bought some Poly-Vi-Sol to give it. Thanks for asking

Think my 2nd egg has died nothing happening and it's gone quiet very quiet I will give it till 2moro to make my mined up of what to do thing is if my egg don't hatch chicky will be on its own

Lay him on his back in your hand. both legs should be parallel underneath him once the bandaid is applied. When I did this for my one chick I had my daughter hold him while I did the band aid. Much easier to do when there are 2 people. Here is a great site that shows how to do it: SPRADDLE LEG

Edit I also put a piece of vet wrap that matched the chicks coloring around the pad part once the band aid was attached. It kept the other chicks from pecking at it. When I didn't have the vet wrap all the other chicks would knock him over to get at the pad part.

Ok, this is for spraddled legs.. are the toes ok or are they curled??? Check out this site if they are curled... I have done this...
