a first time for me with cuckoo,s i think its just the colour ?? im so happy best hatch ive had 8/10 well one still in incubator but i dont know if it will hatch . done water test and is movement but no internal pip its on day 23 so

. i have 16 silkies and frizzles due on 21st so keep you informed . i have noticed today one of my chicks has spade legs so had to tape them up and keep and eye on it . last hatch of the year >>>>>>>>>>>>>well i think it is

HAHAHA This needs to be your last hatch of the year with 16 more in the works! I'm so happy for you I know it's been a hard hatching season for you. I had one of mine with the splayed legs so I did the band-aid trick and it worked great. So the whole Cuckoo's is a "color" deal not a "look". I need to do some reading up. I'm hoping to go to a poultry show the Saturday after Thanksgiving. There is supposed to be over 2,000 bantams there. It would be my second show to observe. I was late at the last one so I need to get there earlier this time. Good luck on your next batch!
 
here is a bit better pic cindy , yes it will be my last so i can fit my christmas tree in . the chick with the legsis the very light grey and seems to be getting around fine

i have had some terrible hatches and its all down to rubbish incubators , i have bought a brinsea 20 eco and its fantastic and i wouldnt hatch with anything else now . awwrrr enjoy your show i would come if i wasnt the other side of the world lol
