Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Goosed, glad to hear Ester is doing well!! There are lots of ebay ads for hatching eggs. I agree that it is best to shop for the right eggs. Do you want both sebbie and dewlap? I am told that dewlaps are probably the hardest of all goose breeds to hatch. I am extremely anxious about my 1st attempt going well next week with my 3 buff babies. Just keep posting links of listings you are considering, and we will help find the right eggs for you.

WOW!!! I got my delivery about 20 minutes ago!

I took pics of the boxes before opening, and then pics with top stuffing removed to show packaging. Will post later after unwrapping and candling. But all were very well done.

What I did not expect was my sweet buff dewlap egg lady sent me 6 greys and 4 buffs when I only paid for 4 greys!! Also got a bonus egg from the other grey dewlap seller... So total eggs received today: 17!!

Everyone but Jerry's are saying out for delivery!!!! So Marty, Goosed, Iain, Celtic.....Please keep me posted on how the eggs are..

Jerry how close are you Kansas City KS, is that close to MO??
we are not very far but will get them today or tommarro Paulla will check at post office

Well, we have a clear #1, #2, and #3 for intact air cells.

#3 is the unknown ebay dewlap seller. She used the smallest box and did not box within a box. Of 4 eggs, 1 was broken... and 3 have questionable air cells... not totally scrambled, but not great. I am very unsure how these will develop, if at all.

#2 is Erin. All of your air cells are perfectly intact, but detached from fat end. This does not bother me as I believe propping them upright at first will correct it easily. I feel good about your eggs.

#1 is a clear winner! The packaged must have been re-used, because all 10 eggs are marked grey (which is cool with me, since I paid for 4 grey eggs). 8 have perfect intact attached air cells, and 2 have a slight partial detachment.

They are settling for now... then will be weighed.

Dropped off goslings and picked up eggs.

The box is bashed in, but opened it and it's the corner where no eggs were sitting. Will candle them when I get home from picking the teen up from school.

Iain sorry about the broken eBay egg. I am looking forward to seeing Carole's packing job first hand. Bought 4 buff from her today.

Pics of boxes. Large is Carole's dewlaps, medium is Erin, and small is random ebay seller:

Carole's opened up. Had to remove a strip of bubble wrap down center to take pic:

Random Ebay Seller...removed packing peanuts to show eggs. Notice how squished into each other they are... guess I should not be surprised one was broken on the side of egg.

This is Erin's box. I had to remove a bunch of shredded newspaper to show eggs.
