Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

Sue, congrats that all 4 have externally pipped. Even if you need to help them, you are on the home stretch!!

the membrane was trying out on one... so i nicked it to be sure there was air getting in.... there was a little blood so i wet the membrane with a q-tip wrapped a damp paper towel over and put it back.............

that big piece of shell by the other egg is what he had broke loose i just moved it earlier.

You are doing great psue. Soon you will have all of your babies out running around. Marty, Amy is sending me some eggs, yeah! I can't wait. She said that they would be very fresh, which I believe. Thanks again for helping me find her.

Out of the 4 buff dewlaps that I received last Wednesday, three of them are developing very nicely and the other one appears to be not fertile.

Exner, that is fantastic news!!! Impressive since you are in the northeast area and the eggs came from Cali! I can't wait until I can see spiders in my buff dewlaps too!!

Erin, As of day 7, egg #1 is doing great and I am seeing blood in egg #2. It is struggling to get itself to together, but I am hopeful to see a spider within the next 1-2 days. I am declaring eggs 3 & 4 duds.

All 5 of my goose eggs on day 20 are rocking it. Gotta get through 2 duck hatches before it's time for the goose babies to hatch though. Should be a tiring, but exciting, week ahead of me.

My adult geese have become more insistent to have my month-old african babies, so I hope to have a great hatch with my toulouse eggs because I will be sad to see my african babies go when it comes time to give them to my geese.
