I've had broodies get off the nest for hours, or sit on the wrong one overnight even, and they've all hatched 100% under them from non shipped eggs. I don't think the 4 hours killed them, just maybe set them back a little.

I'm ok with a day or two late, as long as at least a few show up for the dance!

Exactly how many hours ago did you open this little guy up? (I can't recall)

How active is he??

Around 32 hours since I opened the shell. Activity level on a scale of 1-10, he's probably around an 8.

Just keep him warm and moist for now. If the membrane is drying faster than having to swab him with warm damp qtip every 1-2 hours, then add another warm damp paper towel to bator floor. I would hope that Celtic will check in before too long to see how things are going.
