Marty, based on pics I got from Carole, a buff toulouse will hatch out a light fuzzy yellow. Your baby looks like my greys.

It is a gray. I'm still hoping yours will be buff from Erin, though. There is still hope it may be, like I said above. Celtic told me Sqeeker was a gray.

Is this a question for me, or is there someone names N.S.H.? If me, yes the big T (henceforth called squeeker until he earns a big goose name) was in a bath of liquid.

While it would be cool to hatch a buff, it won't matter if it is grey, so long as it is healthy... and I will just be ecstatic if it hatches unassisted.

This is going to be a tough week ahead. Feeling confident that one of my cayugas will make it just fine. Have one more hanging on by a thread, and the others have passed. Then Erin's scheduled internal pip date is tomorrow night/Thursday morning...finally, my 3 buff dewlaps are scheduled to internal pip on Sat/Sun.

I will be glad to have a few weeks off after this week.

How exciting! It doesn't seem like a month ago that we started the buddy hatch.

I'm sorry you'be lost so may Cayugas. How disappointing for you. Your erin egg and dewlaps are like my erin egg and sebs. First one, than a passal. LOL May we both have lots of pics to exchange of our sibling geese and their good buddies in the many weeks to come before they are grown up. It would be nice if one of us could get that elusive buff. I know not this round for me, but maybe one of the 5 eggs Erin sent will be a buffy, and I know the dewlaps sent today will be.

I'm waiting for BCMs and some other eggs to come right now. And the guy who lucks is from is sending me 18 more jumbo peking eggs, so luck will have some friends.
