How is the Erin egg doing? I want pics 0f yours, like I sent! The gosling are in my lap, and I'm sure Squeeky would love to know how is bro or sis is doing. (well, cousin anyway)

Ugh! I'm so mad! My sisters cat knocked off all my goose eggs that I was going to set tonight..! I had them on the very top shelf so she wouldn't get to them and I came home to every single egg splattered on the floor..


I swear... That cat hates and I'm pretty sure she did it on purpose because she hates me and she is never on that shelf..

Erin egg is doing awesome! It is externally pipping in the sweet spot at this moment, squeaking away. At this pace, it should hatch tomorrow late morning. This egg was in transit for 9 days and the other 2 eggs with it arrived all messed up. But this little baby is one strong bugger... and he's been textbook since day one. Impressive!

Yay!! And It looks like we will have babies hatching together. My little pilgrim baby is shadowing and should internally pip in the next couple days.

I threw out all but 4 eggs last night on the Cayuga's........

I still have 4 and they have growth in them. I was a little disappointed. I really want some ducks too. Can you recommend someone to order them from?

vicki, excellent news!!! Curious... how are your cayuga eggs doing? You got them from pidgey, if I recall?

UPDATE: Erin toulouse internally pipped late afternoon/early evening yesterday on its own! Hallelujah! I expect it to externally pip sometime later today (on its own too!).

All 3 buff dewlaps are working on the turn. I have had one that has been frontrunner since day 1 and I see shadows in the back of that one. Will weigh/candle them carefully in the morning (beginning of day 28).

I had a feeling you would be disappointed with pidgey's eggs. However, I know an excellent cayuga egg seller. She is a little more money, and only sends 6 eggs at a time, but I would very highly recommend her!! Let me know if you want her email.
