Here we go again - I'm hatching more goslings!!

It has spread into a long crack, but with the lighting in bator, I cannot get a pic to show up with the crack.

You want me to candle the dewlaps?

I'd like to see either. What kind of bator do you use? My homemade one has a lightbulb. I'm going to have that homemade cabinet better up and running by next spring. I want ease of hatch here!!!

So, where is molassis sleeping to keep from being lonely and crying all night?

Thats great, Iain. What day is it on now? Got a pic???

Can you still get more eggs? I've got 5 Erin Toulouse in the bator, and 5 dewlaps going in tonight. I'm done with goose eggs for the season after these 10. I just hope Celtic has enough pretty feather sebbies in any color to send me a couple for the rock garden.

In fact, we're going to use some rocks that used to be around the broken down pond to build a very small house (kid and goose sixed) in the far corner, to provide sheltor at will for all sebbies in future. Between barn (w/personal entrance) and small sheltor, and a private yard, the sebbies are going to be spoiled. I'm gonna make the toulouse (if I get anymore) live togather except in springtime. Then I'll divide Giants and Dewlaps, for egg purity.

That's what I said then Hubby bought 2 more bunches

I use LG still air bators for both cooking and hatching. I'll try to take a pic of the crack for you as soon as Molasses nods off to sleep (he's almost there). Hubby just left to get dinner for us, so will have to wait for him to return to get pictures of the candled dewlaps.

Last night, I kept Molasses in bathroom with bator. I moved him into my office when I got up this morning. He will probably go on my nightstand tonight, except that I use a white heat lamp bulb which will be rather bright to sleep next to.... so he may have to stay in my office.

Here is a pic of the external pip on Erin's egg... it came out better than I thought!! Sue, they are grey utility toulouse, but she has a gander with buff recessive gene, so there is a slim chance of buff. We were doing the experiments to see if any of us hatched buff color.
