Yay, I'm so glad the baby is feeling better! Its always such a relief to have them hungary after illness.
Glad the farm had a good day too!

Sorry to drop off on you Marty.... I lost power and cell service for 2.5 hours in the middle of a winter storm rolling in. Not sure what babies/eggs I am going to be able to save since the bators dropped to 80 before I could get a fire going to raise the temps back up to low 90s. They are almost back to normal now.
Erin toulouse was very active as it was getting ready to zip when lost power. It slowed considerably, but seems to be gaining a little energy back now that the temps are rising again in bator. However, not sure if I did any shrink wrap damage by having the fire blowing on it for 1.5 hours.... waiting to check on the 3 buffs working on internal pipping after temps stable and I move it back to bator room. Really feeling bummed about the new eggs as I had just candled them this afternoon and most were looking like they were developing.
I guarantee the one random duck egg is a goner, as it was not looking good after the extended cool down when setting all the new goose eggs.
Ok,
One small child in bed
One gosling snuggled into a blanket on my lap
3/4 buff Pomeranian geese internally pipped, and the 4th is working hard at it.

I have some Dark Copper Marans in too. (And a few of several things) I ended up with a few extra goose eggs to sit, so I'll be getting ready to hand turn them and the Jumbo Pekings I have coming (more Luckys!) via shipment monday. I was gonna use that new goose egg rack(s) I got last month, but no room now. I'll have 16 goose eggs and 19 Jumbo Peks in one bator. The other is packed with chicken eggs and other duck eggs.
Let me regrain with "what was I thinking"? Didn't expect so many guests, but all are welcome.
