Jerry, you are a sweetie! Miss having goose eggs in your bator? I noticed my utility toulouse and dewlap sellers both have eggs for sale on eBay today. ;)

As of yesterday afternoon, I have 5 Buff Saddleback Pomeranian eggs in lock-down (from Kawonu): I had six but one quit sometime this week.

All of them have active movement and two have pipped internally. With any luck I'll have a gosling or two by this time tomorrow!

Then I just have to wait for the five eggs from my pair: Those will all have separate hatch dates through the end of the month since I would sneak another egg into the incubator every time she laid one.
If all goes well, I will have between 16-20 Buff Poms to choose from for my breeding flock.

My Erin egg (the other looks to have quite on me) is internally pipped now. Since I've been a bit behind on my bator work, its still in with the other eggs, but I've upped the humidity. All are due withen the week, except the 3 brand new sebs.

your brave! I would have saved them for a week at a time... good luck!

Her laying season seemed to be over the third week of March (started laying November 30th). However, she suddenly started laying an egg every few days the middle of April. I saved the first couple, but they were so far apart that the older egg was nearly too old by the time the next arrived.

I did a staggered hatch in January, but at least those were in pairs for the most part (only one or two days apart then the next set a week later): I had 7 goslings born over a three week period. The older ones were not so old that they had begun their "explosive growth" cycle yet, so putting the newborns with the next oldest ones worked out well. I just couldn't house the oldest with the youngest due to size difference.

I have a 5 week old Pom, two that are 3 weeks old, and two that are less than a week old right now (plus a pair of Toulouse that are 5 weeks). I have several brooders and pens to put the different sized birds till they are all big enough to be together in the juvenile house.

I also have newborn Beltsville turkeys, plus some that are 5 weeks old. Then their are the chickens....just like a giant juggling act around here.....

Before I went to work this morning I gave the baby Save-a-chick, because that is all I had on hand...As of this eveningit up and moving around well and eating. Has not flipped over again which is awesome! Nothing else exciting happening in the bator yet, keep you posted!

Good Luck Marty.... Iain are any of those mine? Thank for the responses to help fix the baby!!!!
