Gave goosie a white leghorn chick , he is happy now went right to sleep lol the chick cuddled right up to big shaggy friend and went to sleep too!

Iain......at about 40 seconds, when that beautiful baby is looking right up into the camera....oh my! My heart melted a bit. SO sweet. I am so glad you kept the name Spirit. I LOVE it!

Ok Marty sounds good chicks are waaayy smaller than goosie and there are only 3 of them left, one more question will the medicated feed hurt the goose and will waterfowl starter hurt chicks

I give the waterfowl starter to my waterfowl babies always, and it doesn't hurt the chick(s). Use caution with medicated foods, some are not safe for waterfowl. Since to me, the waterfowl are more valuable than chicks (no offense to anyone) I always err on the side of ideal for waterfowl when I have to make a choice. Chicks seem to be able to tolerate a lot. I think a chick with a bunch of wet ducks maybe the exception.

a pic with the the white leghorn chicken the chick went to its new home today so we got Bud a 4 day old pekin duck to be goosies new buddy hence the name Bud still dont know what to name goosie would help if I knew sex Im going to try to get some more pics when they wake up to show you

aaa, precious!! I bet your sebbie will love having a pekin buddy and I bet that pekin will become your favorite duck too! By the way, I see you have your baby on shredded newspaper, which I would not recommend. Bath towels or rubber kitchen shelf liner would be better. It provides good traction and cannot be nibbled on.
