NO kidding. Can't believe I eat food from there.

I only go for the specials on platypus feed, chicken scratch and chicken wings, to keep the other human here from consuming the home birds.

I shop at food lion when I'm too lazy to go all the way to Wally World. This is often btw.

Both, mixed together 'bout half & half by weight, not volume. I've had to supplement some calcium though because the egg shells were coming up porus, so I added in some egg layer pellets. I love their feed products; I need to pay a visit to the mill. Its about an hour north of where I live.

The only thing I won't buy there is their 50# bags of oyster shell. Maybe I got ahold of a bad batch, but it was like powder. I prefer to buy the small 10# bags. You don't use that much of it at a time anyhow and it is much better quality.

10 miles? I wish my feed store was 10 miles from me!!! The feed I need is only carried by a store 12 miles from DH's work which is 37 miles from home

I guess that's what I get for having ducks living in my from yard chickens in my back yard and a couple chunky girls that live where they like (mostly in the house when I get off work

)

EmtheFishLady- I like the idea of a delivery business! If I ran it then I would probably still forget to pick up feed for my flock!
