Hermit Crabs...Any advice?

I looked right before I wrote my last post and just looked back, and my biggest one changed into a SMALLER shell!
She is not the one in the tiny shell, and she's the one Ingot this morning...she's apparently feeling right at home!
Will one changing encourage others to?

Oh, and where can you get the...what'd you say? Started with an E type of crab?
And I will look into the Cholla wood for sure!

Ecuadorian I have a soft spot for that species. Picked one up on accident to be a friend for the purple pincher the boyfriend gave me, loved it, then went back and got two more of them and one purple pincher for the other. They were at a local pet store - they're not something you usually find in major pet stores, although I did get a Blueberry from Petco once, which was crazy. You can actually order them online and have them shipped to you, too. They are a different color from the purple pinchers and their eyes are shaped like little candy corns!
