Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Hey everyone! I used to be a regular on this thread and sort of drifted from BYC for a while. I still enjoy reading this thread when I am here. I can always count on you for ideas. Keep up the good cooking

Tonight is Veggie Alfredo
 
Breakfast for Dinner sort of!

Last night was grits with finely minced tart apple topped with finely sliced ribeye (leftovers) zucchini, chard and onion all lightly poached in a broth of ginger, hoisin, mirin, white wine vin, and scallions! Was delicious!

Homemade white truffle pasta with baby squash, heirloom toms, and chard in a white wine basil/garlic sauce topped with shaved parmesan

Pa is on his own for supper tonight, and it is simple: BLT sandwich-- tomatoes and some late lettuce from my garden with bread and bacon from the Amish market.

I was off the hook last night. My best friends husband threw her a surprise party for her 45th birthday. He supplied the steaks and us girls brought salads. I took Apple/Snicker Salad.

Tonight is Chicken Angelo out of the BYC cookbook.
