Tonight I made chicken marsala with mashed potatoes and green beans.

That sounds greatMy part of Thanksgiving dinner is done:
Roasted Brussel sprouts with yellow raisins
Breaded roasted asparagus with Balsamic vinaigrette
Mashed butternut squash with maple syrup
Mushrooms in brown gravy
The Princess adds :
Keylime cheesecake pie
Crusted Brie is ready to bake
The cherry pie is out of the refrigerator and warming up
Everyone have a great Thanksgiving and travel safely.
I have to add that hardly anyone eats the Brie. First year Princess didn't remove the wrappings, and the whole scene was a mess. Older grandson started yelling; "Debris, debris', and it has become a family tradition. Princess has become much better at making it, but the joke goes on, and who are we to disappoint.![]()
Training or brainwashingIt was hysterical. She's going, "But, but " and grandson is holding up the Brie wrappings. Thankfully the Princess is a good sport - she's had great training.

Trust me on this - ain't anyone brainwashing her. I once asked, "What would have happened if you married someone who said NO?" Without hesitation she replied, "Not been married too long." I find her quick retorts to my nonsense to be hysterical.
