At least you got them. The squirrels ravaged our garden this year. Corn was taken before it fully ripened and nearly every tomato was taken just as it ripened. I managed to get some tomatoes, but not many. I certainly could have fried plenty of green tomatoes, but that's not what I wanted. I'm going to get a bit more aggressive next year. We just might end up trapping squirrels in our garden. It's not the thing I want to do, but gardening is a lot of work and we didn't get the reward this year.Tonight I grilled seasoned pork tenderloin medallions and served them with mac and cheese, and a tomato/onion/pepper/garlic/summer squash ratatouille. I am going to be so sad when my tomatoes are all gone. We're expecting a hard freeze tonight so I picked 44 tomatoes. Hopefully they will gradually ripen for me.
