Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Tonight we will have lemon/pepper chuck pot roast, mashed potatoes, and mashed butternut squash - gravy of course.

That sounds very nice. I made roast pork belly, roast taters and ratatouille. The arrival of unexpected guests resulted in me having bran flakes as the food was not sufficient for everyone

Mrs Paul's fish sticks , sweet corn, and scalloped potatoes - prefaced by a tomato, mozzarella, Bibb lettuce Balsamic vinaigrette salad. Added crescent rolls to last nights meal - delicious, but so unhealthy.

Fish sticks were Cooked half the package and then threw out the rest. I knew better, but the Princess bought them.

The walmart store brand is ok. Costco sells a more grown up fish stick in their Kirkland Generic line

Good quality ones, with vinegar and ketchup, between a couple of slices of bread makes for a great lunch. When I make them I call them goujons

Last night was open faced pot roast sandwiches, leftover scalloped potatoes, and carrots.

Today I will make lemon/pepper roasted chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and mashed maple/butternut squash.

I found the dregs of ratatouille in the fridge so I’ve cooked some pasta and will add Parmesan, once zapped in the microwave

Pizza and boneless wings tonight. Thank God I live near Chicago where I can get great pizza.
