I will try to get some pictures of a few of her bros, they like most Mille C's they have a lot of white on them until molting a few times.
 
The first time I saw all that white I almost fainted. I have only had one MF cochin so far so not much to go on, but for now if I get more, I will just enjoy the "high white" stage for what it is and try not to freak out next time.

Heres an update on my youngest She is darkening up but not as fast as I would like Wish she would hurry up My mottled roo needs more mottling but he will do for my project to get type

nice birds, all of the above! Mike, it may be just as well your cockerel dosn't have so much mottling, as most of these MF cochins seem to have WAY too much white on them for my sense of what looks right. That is the beauty of breeding, always looking for balance... a little of this, a little of that... oops, too much, cross in some of this trait to tome it down...
