I would have a terribly hard time shooting a dog but people around here do it all the time. I was so worried about Honeybear getting shot especially since there are so many deer hunters around here that get really really mad if something messes with their deer territory. She didn't get shot, she fell down the deck stairs and tore up her poor old body. I think I'd have to catch a dog, hold it and call the animal control people. I just don't have it in me to kill it.

Honeybear is/was your dog? What a sweet name! What kind of doggie, and do you have a pic?
And yes, I'd probably have to do that, too. I'm a big softie.

I think the only way I could is if one had gotten in the fenced property and was going after my birds or dogs then I believe Adrenaline would take over.

It couldve been a raccoon, or coyote too.

I've actaully been to WV the part that is near Pittsburg. Is it Wheeling? Anyway, I don't know jack about it but I do know it gets cold there for sure.

I live 30 minutes north of Wheeling.
