Amar kept her eyes down, expecting it to hurt, but was releived when it wasn't that bad. When she probed her hand she replied, "Yes, but just a little."

Satisfied that she was good to go. Ashton made the first incision, being careful not to go too deep. She didn't want to accidentally cutting a tendon. It was a fairly lengthy operation. She had to administer novacaine, several times to ensure she stayed numb for the 3 hour surgery. She had to use a pen, to help hold the bone together. She would have to remove it late, once the bone healed. Ashton sighed deeply as she finished the sutures. "There you go. It went beautifully. You are a very good patient. Like you said, you would be." She then wadded up the dirty chucks, gauze pads and put her instruments in to soak. Ashton turned to Amar and said, "In fact, it went so well. I'm thinking we can get away with a splint instead of a cast. I didn't put a pen in your hand. It will help hold the bone in place better. But the draw back, absolutely no shifting. Because stainless steel, does not change shape. Do you understand, young lady?" She asked sternly.

Amar still felt the pain a bit, but her face was set so sternly that she could not cry. Through the whole surgery she focused on not twitching, or pulling her hand away. She was relieved at last when the surgery was over, exhausted from the agonizing three hours. When Ashton praised her she became aware that if she was not careful she would burst out crying for sure. "I won't shift." She promised, drawing back her hand to look at it.

Zypher glanced down, as he felt the blood trailing down his leg, it used his sock like a wick, to fill his shoe. The elevator opened and he pushed off the wall and walked cautiously to the door of the penthouse. He opened it and walked inside. He paid the others no mind, as he walked straight to his bedroom. He took his suit jacket off, then the vest and lastly the shirt, as he went. He dropped all the bloodied clothing on the master bathroom floor. He hoping Anna was ready, as he slowly straddled the toilet to face the wall. He then glanced up at her andsaid, "I'm beyond shifting, you're going to have to sew it. I'm very sorry." He then passed out falling forward on the tank of the toilet.

Navar grabbed the cases and followed after Zypher and Anna. He was silent as he watched him. He wanted to help, but he wouldn't take it. He knew him too well. He glanced at the people in the penthouse. Then froze, confused as to who they were. "Hello? " He said quietly.
~~~
The handler watched silently. Notes indecated that she refused to eat. Day one.
Ericsson waited for Star to shift. But when she didn't, he looked her right in the eyes. "Have you ever heard if a black unicorn with a twist, red eyes and sharp teeth?" He asked curiously. He'd received the mass email from Sands. It was quite interesting, to say the least.
Anna caught him when he passed out, making sure his head didn't hit the porcelin too hard. She took a deep breath then gathered what she would need from his supplies and set to work, getting the bullet fragments out of his shoulder and sewing him closed then bandaging him and putting him to bed before she returned to the bathroom to clean up her mess. Once she was alone, she looked at the mirror then raised her shirt a little, looking at the graze she had gotten against her side. Shaking her head, she shifted to her wolf then went to lay beside him on the bed in her wolf form, watching the door.
~~~
Angela stayed in the corner, huddled in on herself. Her long white hair covered her from seeing the prison she was in now and gave her some comfort, though it was weak and false.

~~~
Star's eyes widened at the mention of that one. She snorted and tried again to get up. If they had that one here, she was not staying. The meat eater was one she never wished to meet. Even a loner like her had heard of that odd unicorn. She kicked futility at the net, only tightening the strands that had wrapped around her legs before settling again. She was breathing harder from her struggles and trembling a little
Both disappointed and a lityle hurt Skye starred at yhe ground as if she hadn't noticed.
~
Diavsl nodded at her instructions.
Mark touched her chin to raise her face and make her look at him again "Skye?"
Zypher moved his shoulder around a little, to get a feel for it. "Not to sure. The bullet didn't exist, so it and all fragments must be removed, before I can shift. It could be lodged against my shoulder blade. There doesn't seem to be any joint damage. However I'm loosing a lot of blood. I'm starting to feel weak, thank goodness we are almost there." He said as he finished his assessment.
~~~

The handler quietly came in with some fresh fruits and water. She set them on the table and Then left again before she could stress her again.

~~~
(Oh, good. I was hoping you'd say that!! ;) )
Ericsson had seen her get out of the cell, on the surveillance camera. He quickly called for the electrified net. They suspended it from the ceiling down the hallway she was coming down. He had told them to make a lot of noise behind her, to get her running without making critical decisions. Then she wouldn't look up, but straight ahead. The net was motion activated, at the slightest movement, it would fall on top of her. At least he hoped she wasn't faster then the net. But just in case, she got through, Ericsson was waiting for her down the hall. He could always walk her backwards.
Anna winced then nodded "Alright, then lets get there and get you fixed up before you lose too much blood." She said quietly.
~~~

Angela woke at the sound of the door and watched the human bring in the food and water then leave again. Curiously she sat up and glanced around then moved to the offering and picked up the water, drinking it quickly. Whatever they had used to knock her out had made her thirsty but she hadn't dared to ask for anything from these people.

~~~
Star tossed her head then started running down the hallway. She didn't know that's what they had wanted her to do. Had she not slowed to try to see what the odd feeling was when she reached the net, she would have passed under without getting caught but she had slowed. The net came down over her and she jumped before the current made her fall She whinnied, calling out for help  before the electricity stole her voice too.
Dawn watched Star and prayed she would be able to escape. Whatever this creature was, it had enough fire in its spirit to do so, unlike Dawn.
"Yes?" She asked, looking up.
"I know where they are." He stated harshly.
"Look, Calum, I don't think I can continue doing this." Harold said, "I just can't do it anymore, my whole family would want to disown me if I continued doing it."
"I know where they are, Harold. And if you try and run I will find them, Diaval was chipped while he was unconscious. Give them back and I won't hurt anyone, and will let you resign from your job."
"I didn't take them, I'm sorry but I'm not doing it." Harold said.
Astrid quickly kissed his cheek, then, leaning back she pretended like nothing happened by pretending to be intrigued by the dirt.
~
Liana giggled and pulled Carrow harder ahead. Buchanan stumbled and laughed as he tried to keep up.
Sonora set down her thinks and ran to the other bed. After placing a hand on the mattress to test it she jumped onto with a laugh. “I could sleep forever!” Sonora didn’t know any better because it was much nicer than anywhere else she had stayed, that is if she could afford a room.
Raine grinned at her. Then looked down at the dirt, as well. "What do you see down there? It must be really interesting." He said.
~~~
Carrow giggled softly, "Oh my, I'm forever going to be out ran by a deer. An eagle could never keep up." She said dramatically.
~~~
Keira smiled at Sonora. "I second that thought. Is it a complete sell out, if I admit that I want a bed like this? Dare I say, the whole human cage. Four walls, frig full of food, clean water from the tap and security!" She asked.
