The guards watched her leave.
~
"Yeah" He replied, even though he didn't get to see other bats.

Ember was now hidden in a thick layer of trees. She headed to her house first, for she knew that her maid would be in a panic.
(The maid seems like added comedy, kinda:p)
---
"Breakfast is ready!" Mariam said from the porch, she then went back inside. "I think being here won't be too bad, a little odd, but not bad." Gold commented and got up.

(Ok, I can't reply right now but I'll still read about Ember)

Diaval was quiet, he didn't what to say. After gently placing the chick underneath her mother he washed off his hands with a hose. Wiping his hands on his pants he ran inside.

"Uh," She said with a sly smile.

The girl moved towards the sound of the unfamiliar voice. "Hello? I've been locked in a cell and can't get out." Lowering her voice she continued, "You must enter the police station and let me out."
Astrid giggled and watched him with curiosity.
~
Buchanan sighed, but continued. "What if we adopted the girl? She could be like a.. a... our daughter." He looked up at her to watch her response.
~
Sonora helped her carry the food to their table, which was just out of sight of the window so that anyone passing by wouldn't see them.
~
"Ok," She smiled comfortingly as she patiently waited. Her heart raced at the sight of the men pointing their weapons at Navar. She tried the door but it wouldn't budge. She wanted so badly to run to him and talk them men out of whatever they had planned to do to him. Breathing deeply she tried to calm, but couldn't help sigh relief when they let Navar come back to her. "I'm so glad you're ok, I thought they might hurt you." Her voice was soft as she gave him a quick hug. Nothing made sense to her, but she thought that humans were all dangerous. Still she thought he had taken her to a hospital, not even suspecting in the least bit that he had brought her into a trap.

Raine Raven laughed again as he looked up at Astrid from the ground. He then transformed into his human form. "Hello, beautiful." He said with a smile from the flat of his back.
~~
Carrow smiled, "That is a wonderful idea. I would love to adopt her. I was never letting her out of my life, anyway. But what if she doesn't want us to adopt her. We can't force her, Buchanan. We need to ask her, what she wants, first." Carrow said thoughtful, as she poured the now warm milk into a mug.
~~
Keira sat down with her back to the wall and her eye on the door. She had noted all ways to exit, in case they were ambushed. She then slowly picked up her coffee and took a slow steady sip. She closed her eyes at the rich aroma and strong flavor. "Just what I needed to calm my frazzled nerves." She said joyfully.
~~
Navar was taken back by the warm embrace and her whispered words. It was as if a knife had been turned in his heart. That was the moment he realized his mistake. This one, was costing him a piece of his soul. He should have listened to Zypher, and took the girl and ran. He smiled nicely at her and said, " No, I'm quite alright. They will help you here. They are familiar with our kind. Come, let's go meet Markus."

Markus stood were he had been. He stared intently at the passenger side door. He couldn't see a thing, because of the door. But as Navar shut the door, he got his first glimpse of the girl. He was stunned by her radiant beauty. Her hair sparked in the sunlight. He held his ground and waited for Navar to bring her over. He put on his best smile.

Astrid couldn't help but laugh. She climbed down from the tree and laid down in the dirt.

Buchanan smiled, but it's attention were pushed aside as he heard a noise come from the living room./ The fawn awoke. Looking around she quickly jumped to her feet. "Hello?" She said in a low, scared voice. She had no idea where she was.
~
"Thankfully I can look calm while inside I'm completely stressed. It makes me appear stronger." She grinned sheepishly.
~
Amar smiled shyly as she stood beside the Humvee with Markus watching her. She looked back at Navar but was encouraged by his gentle reassurance.

(Okay:)) Ember arrived at her house, and Carly, the maid, ran over to her. "I was so worried! Where have you been? Your shirt is torn!" "I'm fine. I was caught, but now I'm fine. I tricked those dunderheads into thinking I'd bring requested shifters, but the thing is, I said I'd find them, nothing about bringing them." A smirk spread across Ember's face. "You were caught? This isn't funny! And I swear, I didn't tell anyone you're a shifter!" "I know you didn't. Now, I want you to get me my black backpack and fill it with blankets and food and such, I won't be back for a while, because I have to warn a ferret about the shifter catchers wanting her, and I must hide her somewhere safe." The maid nodded and went to get the backpack.

Gold followed him.

Raine looked over at Astrid. "There is nothing better then the earth and nature. It is almost like it recharges the spirit." He said as he looked back up at the sky. He watched as a butterfly fluttered by.
~~
Carrow looked at Buchanan a little nervous. But she slowly walked into the living room. She got down on her knees and said in a calm and soothing voice, " It's okay, you are safe now. We have brought you her to help you. My name is Carrow and this is Buchanan. "
~~
Keira chuckled softly at Sonora. "I too hide it well, but in my down moments, I indulge." She explained with a smile.
~~
Navar slowly started to escort her over to Markus. Navar remained silent.

Markus looked only at her. She was entrancing. He couldn't keep his eyes off of her. He reached out his hand in greeting, but withdrew it as he noticed her hand. "Hello, Miss. I'm afraid I do not have your name. What are you call?" He asked politely, for he had a desire to hear her voice.

Sandor chuckled nervously again, "At this very moment, I'd say quarrelsome. But at other times more like my mother was. Independent and determined. So she was my model for how vixens act. For I've never met one." He explained shyly.

Autumn looked at him questioningly. "You've never met a female fox?"
