Spyro straightened and looked to Jackdaw, then back at Star curiously. "But of course, that would be fine. I'm sure he'll be thankful for both food and company." He said with respect, as he stepped out of the door to allow them to enter.

Jackdaw bowed to Star. "Princess, you grace me with your presence." He looked up to Falkirk and bobbed his head. "Just as your kindness is greatly appreciated. I lamented not eating before I revealed myself." He said with mild humor.

Graydon grinned uncontrollably. "Why is it when you get the giggles, you can't stop?" He asked.

"Touche, we are of like minds in that. But..." He stopped as the flash caught his attention as well. "What is that? " Bertram asked Jackie, seeing she wasn't alarmed.

Orson laughed in her mind and said, "It's good to have connections. Something up there loves us, because there id definitely divine intervention. Now, enough talk, more action. You are an Oilin in training. " He rubbed neck and twirled deeply before he took off. "Let's test you tracking abilities. No peeking! " He replied playfully.

Aeval and her sisters listened. Then Aeval said, "Well, that's still very good for your first time. I'm sure it was scary. The first time with my acid, I was all alone. I didn't understand what was happening. I just learned through trial and error. You have a wonderful mother and a loving sister. It warms our heart to be included with her teachings. " Pandora and Ena nodded their agreement with her.

Ericsson was having so much fun. He opened the bedroom door and preceeded to sniff around extremely loud. "Hum, where did Red Ridding hood go?" He looked under the bed, in the master bathroom. He then walked over to the closest and sniffed loudly again. Thinking of another wolf based fairy-tale. "Open this door, or I'll huff and puff and blow this door down. " He stated matter-of-factly.

Jaxon turned to go to the door but Ember was already coming in. So he smiled in greeting. "I was just coming to get you." He explained simply.

"So aren't oral histories. Memory is fallible." Markus whispered to the window. He was running scenarios through his mind. None were favorable.

Zypher turned onto the highway to head back to the penthouse. "This day just keeps getting better and better." He stated as he sped through traffic.

Starr smiled and dipped her head to him then went in to see Jackdaw "Hello again. I was surprised you revealed yourself after our last conversation." She said as she came over to take a seat

Thinking about it only set off another round of giggles as Kyra shook her head,, not knowing an answer to that question.

"My phone light. It lets me know when I get a phone call while I am in here. I did that when I was young, surprised it still works since I had nearly forgotten about it." Jackie thought to him then sighed "I have become very popular this last week or so"

Estelle smiled and nodded, glancing back to Aurora, who flew behind them for now. "I know, she is the best" She said happily then looked ahead again to see where the house was

Rosie had to bite her finger to keep from laughing at the change in fairy tales he did. She shook her head, staying silent and waiting as she hid.

Ember gave him a small, worried smile as she nodded "What has happened now?" She asked curiously. She glanced to Cadeon, moving to take his hand in hers

"You do not understand, normal people, normal shifters have falliable memories. That is simply the way things are. Sometimes one will have an exceptional memory, but with the doves, they all have exceptional memories.They always remember the stories, it is rare indeed to have a lorekeeper that forgets any of the stories once they are learned. Our problem is that the only one we have is too young to have been fully trained."

Anna sighed and nodded "Jackie will meet us there or call us, we can call on Aurora, but her daughter must be kept safe for her. We can ask if she knows any fey or witches or other magic users that could help." She said, thinking as she spoke then sending messages through the phone to try to get them together. "If the giant is asleep still, we will only need one to re-seal it and everyone else can remain hidden and safe."

"It was eating at me what Vatgkan had done to both Lucille and yourself. I'm honor bound to challenge him, yet I needed to reveal myself to gain the right to do so. My motivates aren't completely selfless. I was just tired of hiding. Plus, since Racine has returned, I felt now or never." Jackdaw explained as he waited for Star to take a seat, then he sat down.

Falkirk set the plate on the table in front of Jackdaw and moved to sit beside Star on the couch.

"I knew our stolen time couldn't last. But we can always come back here." Bertram said with softly. He stood with Jackie in his arm and set her down gently. "Will you fly or can I ride you home?" He asked curiously.

Orson twirled through their link, before he fell silent. He'd ran a fair distance away. He'd found an evergreen thickened section of the woods. He hid behind them and watched through Kristen's mind as she tracked him.

Aeval also focused her attention to learning the aerial landscape for future reference.

Ericsson sighed dramatically, as his huffing and puffing failed. "Rewriting that line. The big bad wolf turned the knob with his new opposable thumb." He said with humor. He then opened the closest door. "There you are. Now you have nowhere to run!" He called out victorious.

Jaxon shrugged, "We need to find Jackie. The call was for her." He observed critically.

Markus looked to Don to say calmly. "I understand that. You have stated as much. But what I'm getting at, is we need to move beyond that. We can't hang the future of the world on the frail shoulders of a little girl. If I have to use every shifter in Menagerie to achieve victory and rectify the wrong I have brought to all of us, I'll do just that."

Zypher nodded, "Let's stay positive. He'll still be asleep like Rip Van Winkle." He said with tense worry.

Ackley swallowed hard and looked to Nashton with wide eyes.

Nashton smirked, "That's Anna's pack. Saving the world and your alpha thought she had a chance. Tragic really. Aren't you glad you're with us and not aginst us?" He asked coolly.

Ackley nodded slightly in agreement, remembering Anna's strange wolf form.

A sound from Aurora started the girls on a spiral down to landing in the backyard of the house they were borrowing. Soon they had landed and shifted to their human forms again

Rosie was laughing when he opened the door, shaking her head and wi[ing tears of laughter out of her eyes, though she was finally able to laugh aloud again

Skylar nodded and came into the room "Bob is asleep though, so if Jackie comes back before we do, let her know to call Anna to find out where she's needed.

"Then we are in agreement, this is an all in battle for this world's survival." Don said then sighed and looked away again "Unless he happens to actually be still asleep and we can catch a break like that. Unlikely as that is, I pray for it, but meanwhile, my Anna will get the cavalry ready"

"Prepare for the worst, pray for the best" Anna said again with a nod as she focused on the phone for a few minutes before looking to Zypher again "Are we letting Marcus know I am healthy, or playing on the act?"

Though I don't have title right now, I still have my honor. Fey's take minion spells very seriously and I especially with my history of them used on my pack. But when I'd learned of his relentless torment of you and then taking you twice. As well as princess Lucille. I knew then, Vatgkan had to answer for what he has done. So I stepped forward to clear my name" He said. Jackdaw bowed his head and looked to his hands. " But to answer your question about Lady Dawn, first let me say this: When you brought Navar, princess Amar and lady Dawn, into this realm. I was only interested in the portal and fleeing to earth's realm. In fact I waited for a chance and watched from the tree line. But when the portal closed and the wind shifted, it brought me lady Dawn's scent. Now something called to me and awoke something long asleep. She is why I braved the castle in the first place. I had to find out why. So I chanced a meeting with her. Before you think i deceived her as to who and what I was. Know that it was in the form you see now. I never hid from her. I told her my past and she made me one of her flock. Vowing to kill all who tried to hurt me. So for her, I hid behind the glamor. I had lady Dawn's acceptance from the start. But I did betray her, before I revealed myself. You see, I put her in a sleep spell, to keep her from interfering and getting hurt. Rest assured, should I die before I can awake her, she will wake on her own. As you can see, I do love lady Dawn very much. But she is young yet and doesn't understand this kind of love. She only knows platonic love. But I'll wait for her. However long it takes. If I survive this and she forgives me." Jackdaw replied calmly and looked up at Star. He had the barest amount of uncertainty in his eyes.

Falkirk listened quietly and looked to his fellow fey with a new understanding. "You are very complex, my friend. I will be rooting for you." He replied truthfully.

Graydon grinned at Kyra's lack of inspiration. So he too looked around. That when he noticed the squirrel spying on them. "We are being evaluated, we'd best behave. " He said with humor.

Bertram shook his head and tried again. "Not me riding you. You riding me. I have the stanima of 10 horses and twice their speed." He shifted and got down so she could mount him easily.

Orson smiled proudly as Kristen gave over to her Oilin's instincts.

Aeval took their led and did as well. She shifted and looked around cautiously.

"What's this, a giggle fest? I'm trying to spark fear, you hear? Oh well, there goes my day job." Ericsson said as he joined her with his own laughter.

Jaxon then moved into the kitchen to get the scent of Jackie. Once satisfied he could track her, he rejoined Skylar in the living room.

Cadeon took Ember's hand and walked with her. He glanced over to a still sleeping Bob and smiled warmly. "I wasn't aware she had even left. I hope you find her safe." He said as the looked back to Skylar.

Markus pulled out his own phone and started holding up his side of deal. "Your Anna is a remarkable female. I see a lot of you in her." He complimented absently as he texted.

Xavier tugged on his collar and glared at Markus. "You do know you'll have to take this thing off for me to use my magic?" He said with hate-filled eyes.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there. Just remember I still have Storm." Markus stated simply.

From what I saw, I fully expect it to not be platonic for too much longer." She said then motioned to the plate. "Please, eat and be strong for your fight. I hope you win, but I want you to know that he will not live no matter how this turns out. I have made my choice" She said quietly then looked down to her hands. It was not easy, but Jackdaw was right, Vatgkan didn't deserve to live to continue to hurt others even without his magic.

Ember nodded and looked to Bob then around the house "Are you certain she isn't just resting again?" She asked quietly.

"I just checked the scents, they all went out the back door" Skylar said then glanced to Jaxon before turning to go so they could find Jackie and explain everything.

Spyro stood by the door listening quietly. He'd always liked Prince Jackdaw. But his position didn't afford him the luxury of helping him. He was glad that others were. He tried to reach out to his brother again, but got a brick wall. It concerned him, Ender was not one to close down completely.

The squirrel spying on them, did produce an acorn. He bobbed it's tail in a territory display, all while watching Graydon.

Graydon held up his hand and said, "Oh, no you don't. If you throw that, you best think about this..." in his best Clint Eastwood voice he said, "Are you luck punk? If you are, go ahead and make my day! "

The squirrel squeezed it before he went to shell and eating the acorn.

Graydon sighed softly and said, "Relax, the bomb has been defused."

Bertram laughed internally, as he got up and started for the underwater entrance. He galloped through the water and out of the river. He then ran as fast as he could for home. Effortlessly bounding over any obstacles in his path.

"Yes, you did. Even though I didn't make it easy for you. You are adapting very well to your new form." Orson praised highly.

Aeval glanced over curiously, then turned back to the twins. "So there is fire, water, acid and earth. What other elements do dragons control? " She asked.

Ericsson grinned widely. "Well, you know how the modern movies are . They take for everything and call it an original. " He replied playfully.

Jaxon followed Skylar out and shifted to his hybrid form. He then got the scent trail, but frowned as it disappeared. "It stops for some reason. I don't understand why. " He explained.

Xavier explained to Don, "He's my dragon son. Although he's a dragon, I love him as my own. "

Markus stated without looking up from texting, "You stole from me. So I stole from you. He's being cared for and he doesn't even know he's been taken from you. You two really did drift apart in my employ. He has taken to working for me."

There are different ones after these, but they are the center ones. Some are more rare than others and some more specific, but every dragon power there has ever been can be traced to the main four"

Skylar shifted to her wolf to sniff around for any return of Jackie's scent nearby. She didn't understand what could have happened to her without them leaving the property
