Nope, I'm a bit farther, but it's nice to know that someone *does* have a crowing rooster and is getting away with it. My two are 13 weeks and haven't started yet.

Well, I realise that, unless I want to BUY eggs, I need to add to my very small flock. I currently have 4 girls that are a little over two years,2of them have stopped laying completely (and no, they are not moulting)- actually one of then never really layed much anyway,I'd say maybe 2 dozen eggsin her lifetime LOL, But, she's sweet and entertaining...

So, I'm looking for two pullets/point of lay. I'm not too fussy on breed, but, do want something that should lay well. My chickens are very spoilt, their "day run" is about 40ftX 40ft, with pepper tree shade, and a large salad bar, organic feed and lots of treats... Anyone have any birds to offer, or suggestions on where I might find some? I have been checking craigslist, but, really would rather deal with someone from this group. I don't want to start with chicks, partly because I would like them laying sooner rather than later, but, the size difference would make integration an issue. While they don;t need to be tame, it would be really nice if they weren't completely feral and unsocialised.

I'm located in Acton, but an willing to travel.

I can sell you some of mine they are about 2 months Old there abouts I'm in Acton also

Does any one here have Marans they are willing to sell? I lost mine to my dogs, and feed barn won't have any until next year. Am willing to drive. Pls let me know.

I have 3 week old FCM but... I think they are all roosters. At least two are. But if you're interested, let me know!
